Located in the southern York County in the state of Pennsylvania, much of the region borders Maryland. The Southern York County Regional Planning Commission (SYCRPC) is focused on bringing communities together by:

• Solving short-range problems
• Recognizing long-term needs
• Facilitating joint actions
• Acting as a central resource
• Fostering communications

The Regional Planning Commission meets every other month on the first Tuesday beginning in February, at 7:30 pm, in the Shrewsbury Township meeting room, 11505  Susquehanna Trail South.
